Skating Lessons for Students!
SIA “Rumbulas Sporta Centrs,” in cooperation with the Riga City Municipality, invites educational institutions to register 2nd–5th grade students who want to learn new skills and spend time actively, for free skating lessons.
Skating is not only a fun way to spend free time – it develops coordination, balance, endurance, concentration, and an understanding of teamwork and ice safety. Classroom sessions on the ice strengthen the group, promote a friendly atmosphere, and encourage children to move more, developing physical, emotional, and social skills.
Each class will receive a 10-lesson skating cycle led by professional coaches. Lessons will take place during the 2025/2026 school year, from September 1 to May 31, at one of the most modern ice arenas in Latvia: Kurbads Ice Arena, Lidlauka Street 37, Riga.
Planned lesson times: weekdays from 8:30 AM to 2:45 PM.
We will ensure students’ safety and comfort both on and off the ice.
Provided free of charge:

Locker room and staff to help children prepare for lessons

1-hour skating lesson on the ice

Professional skating coaches

Skates, helmets, knee and elbow pads for each child during the lesson
Important: transportation to and from the lessons is the responsibility of the educational institution.
